Rhinestones (flatback and pointbacks) can easily
be applied to any garment using several types
of adhesives.
Some commonly used adhesives are:
 |
E-6000
is a unique adhesive formulated to meet high-performance
industrial requirements. It adheres to more
surfaces then virtually any other adhesive.
E-6000 has exceptional adhesion to fabrics.
Not for use on Styrofoam. It also adheres
strongly to leather, rubber, vinyl and many
plastics. Because it is abrasion-resistant
E-6000 may be used on high-wear surfaces.
E-6000 maintains its flexible bond in cold
temperatures. The clear E-6000 is not formulated
for exposure to sunlight. For these applications,
paint over E-6000 after it has cured. Please
refer to the CAUTION printed on the label
before using this product. This product is
most commonly used for long term adhesion
that will usually withstand dry cleaning on
high end formal and pageant apparel. |

Rhinestones are perfect for adding sparkle and
class to scrapbooks, clothing, greeting cards,
cell phones, shoes, handbags and more!
Please note that when using foiled back rhinestones
(flatbacks or pointbacks), you should never use
a glue gun or super glue (cyanoacrylate) as they
will damage the foil backing. Also be aware that
while Rhinestones are terrific for adding sparkle
to clothing, special precautions should be used
during cleaning the garment. For assistance is

Just a note: Always follow the cleaning care instructions
on your glue; many glues require that clothing
be air dried. If you do machine dry always turn
the article inside out before being placed in
the dryer to avoid damage. Before beginning any
project, always test the glue on the surface with
one or two stones to make sure you are getting
a good strong adhesion that will last.
